Michael Meyers Child Costume
Toby giggled as he put on his Michael Myers child costume to get ready to go trick or treating. He couldn’t wait to terrorize his big sister with the fake knife that had come with the costume.
She hated it when he acted out his favorite horror movies. Of course his favorite was “Halloween” and he liked to pretend that she was the older sister Judith and stab her with his toy knives.
He had never had a Michael Myers child costume to dress up in before though and daddy had even bought him the boots and the mask to go with it. His mom said he was way too young to not only be wearing the costume but watching the movies as well.
She thought that not only Michael Meyers but the holiday Halloween was way overrated and if she had her way they wouldn’t even celebrate it.
His dad had smiled and handed him the Michael Myers child costume as soon as he picked him up on Friday night. He could tell his mom wasn’t happy but she had picked him out some baby Spiderman costume to wear.
He was 10 years old not 5 he told her. This just earned him a scolding from his mom and an eye roll from his sister.
His mom said that if his dad was going to be the hero then he could be the hero and take him trick or treating tonight. Dad had no problem with that and even helped him put blood on the fake Michael Meyers knife he had gotten with his Michael Myers child costume.
His sister had a date tonight much like the sister in the “Halloween” movie which Toby thought was ironic. He planned to sneak downstairs and scare them before his dad showed up but his mom caught him and made him promise to leave the dweebs alone. They were all kissy kissy anyway since they had decided to get married and made Toby gag every time he was around them.
He put the finishing touches on his Michael Myers child costume which consisted of a blue jumpsuit that fit him loosely and nothing else. His dad had ordered the white mask with the hair sticking out of it separate and then replaced the foam knife that came with the costume at the last minute with a bigger one that glinted when the light hit it.
Toby still had ten minutes to go before his dad showed up to take him trick or treating so he sat on the edge of his bed and called his best friend. He had two of them. One was going as Freddy Kruger from “Nightmare on Elm Street” and the other was going as Jason Voorhees from “Friday the 13th.” They were going to rule the neighborhood this year as the scariest horror movie villains of all time. Toby was itching to get started by the time his dad got there and they headed out into the Halloween night.
