Leatherface Child CostumeLisa shuddered every time she saw her little brother in the Leatherface child costume her parents had let him get for Halloween. She hated the movie and didn’t understand why her parents would let him be something like that for Halloween or any other time for that matter.

In Lisa’s opinion it was the worst and most violent movie ever made. The scene with the grandfather and the girl who survived made Lisa sick to this day.

She had nightmares for weeks after seeing it for the first time. The fact that it was based on a true story made her cringe every time she saw a person in a Leatherface child costume the Halloween after she had watched it.

Her brother had recently entered the horror movie stage and he was a real freak about it. He wanted to watch every one he could get his hands on and his parents weren’t really diligent about monitoring which ones they let him watch.

She shuddered again when she heard him crank up the realistic toy chainsaw her dad had picked up when he bought home the Leatherface child costume for Pete.

He had been playing with the thing ever since and every time she heard it the sound set her teeth on edge. Of course Pete thought it was funny and she couldn’t really blame him. What 17year old girl is scared of a chainsaw and a mask that actually looks like a pig? But she couldn’t help it. The movie and the costume scared her and she didn’t seem to be able to help it. She had even had nightmares when he first gotten the Leatherface child costume.

The costume consisted of a printed fake apron with a striped shirt and brown tie attached. It also came with a distorted mask with hair sticking up out of it. It gave Lisa the willies and she wasn’t ashamed to admit it. Pete came out of his room with a wide grin on his grotesque face and said boo at her. She couldn’t even get mad at the little pipsqueak because who could blame him?

She had gotten out of taking him trick or treating because of it at least. She had told her mom that she would get sick if she took him and she wasn’t lying. The idea of taking him out and being with that costume in the dark alone did make her feel sick.

Her parents thought and told her that she was being silly but she couldn’t help it. The Leatherface child costume reminded her too much of the sick things that were done in that movie. A movie she honestly wished she had never watched.

She would be so glad when Halloween was over. Pete had promised her that he would take the costume and put it in his closet instead of continuing to wear it all of the time. She couldn’t wait until tomorrow when she didn’t have to see it again or hear that blasted chainsaw!
